Project Planner

Place of work: Warsaw

Tasks:

• Develop initial project schedule based on a predefined strategy in partnership with the Project Manager
• Build plan to scope of effort required to meet objectives
• Determine activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project
• Determine resources needed to complete the project and create resource requisitions
• Attend kick off and initial planning session meetings
• Attend detailed project planning sessions (i.e. sticky note sessions, BTC planning)
• Maintain project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
• Track and monitor schedule on a daily basis
• Inform/escalate any issues to the Project Manager for resolution (i.e. tasks slipping, tasks not started)
• Attend project check point meetings
• Analyze and review resource assignments with Resource Managers
• Inform/escalate issues to the Project Manager for resolution
• Analyze and review allocation forecast with Finance Lead
• Inform/escalate issues to the Project Manger for resolution

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced in MSP
• Strong Microsoft project skills
• Experience with Clarity or another PPM tool (i.e. MS Project Server, Primavera, etc…).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Management, Business or Information Technology) or equivalent experience
• Two to three years of related experience with demonstrated success in project planning. Previous experience as a Project Planner or Project Manager is highly desired
