3NL B shift Lead Operator

Lead Operator of shredding, grinding, extruding, and pelletizing equipment in the manufacturing of recycled polyethylene (PE).

Responsibilities

Ensure all required administrative forms associated with recycle process are maintained accurately and timely; Keep all machine settings within Standard Operating Condition parameters; Ensure recycle line is run within recommended safety and operating characteristics; Keep correct scrap material feeding on in-feed belt for proper coloration and physical properties; Maintain 5S in work areas at all times; Ensure scheduled output production rates are achieved and reported on required form; Report non-conforming product to management immediately; Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to equipment as required and document accordingly; Demonstrate good teamwork by assisting/training co-workers as needed or directed by Supervisor; Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; User knowledge of basic computer functions; Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot process related issues in a timely manner; Basic math, reading, and writing skills; Ability to lift 50 pounds; Ability to stand for 12 hour shift; Ability to bend, squat, stand and pull; Ability to wear and operate safety equipment (earplugs and safety glasses); Ability to read printed data from reports and computer screen; Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
