Are you passionate about the art of coffee-making and creating delightful coffee experiences for guests? 4th Avenue Espresso Bar, located at the prestigious Fairmont Olympic, is looking for a talented and customer-focused Part Time Barista to join our team. If you have a love for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and a warm and welcoming attitude, we'd love to have you on board!

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking

Responsibilities

Welcomes customers with courtesy and ensures their satisfaction, addressing any concerns to supervisors; Prepares espresso orders according to established recipes and measurements while accommodating customer preferences; Accurately enters customer orders into the POS device, processing payments in cash or by credit card; Maintains the cleanliness of the service area, restocking condiments, beverages, and supplies as needed; Possesses a thorough understanding of daily menu offerings and effectively communicates them to customers

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Prior barista experience preferred; Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions.; Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected; Must hold authorization to work in the USA; Must be at least 18 years of age; Must possess a valid Washington Food Worker Card; Must be able to read, write and speak English; Must possesses excellent communication skills; Must be professional in appearance and demeanor; Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays; Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
