Account Executive - Flourish

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design. As an Account Executive on the Flourish team, you'll be the person building the relationships and closing the deals that bring data storytelling to more organizations. Flourish is the world's leading data storytelling platform, part of the Canva family since 2021. The role is based at Canva's campus in Austin, Texas, which is home to Canva's US operations, with choice in where and how you work. Interviews are conducted virtually.

Responsibilities

Building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and shaping tailored Flourish solutions to match; Proactively prospecting and reaching out to target organizations, from newsrooms and government bodies to nonprofits and global brands, using high-touch outbound best practice; Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations, running a structured discovery process, and connecting customer challenges to Flourish's features; Negotiating contracts and working closely with Legal and Security to get deals across the line; Tracking every stage of your pipeline in the CRM, and handing over new customers to the Success team; Partnering with Marketing on events and campaigns that drive new business, and sharing customer feedback that helps shape the Flourish product roadmap

Requirements

3+ years of B2B sales experience, managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through to close; Track record of hitting or beating targets; Comfortable initiating conversations with senior stakeholders and holding your own with multiple decision-makers; Ability to turn a complex product into a simple, compelling story for the customer; Organized, able to manage a pipeline of opportunities without letting details slip; Curious about data and storytelling, and excited to learn about a product like Flourish

Nice to have

Bonus: experience selling into media, broadcast, sports, or newsroom organizations, especially where data visualization or audience-engagement content plays a role
