Acute Care Surgery- Full Time PA/NP

Join a highly respected team of Acute Care Surgeons supporting a busy Level I Trauma Center in Macon, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity for a PA or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work alongside experienced surgeons and advanced practice providers in a fast-paced inpatient environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient care for General Surgery and Trauma Surgery patients; Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care; Participate in daily rounding and multidisciplinary care discussions; Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary teams; Manage patient admissions, consults, and follow-up care as appropriate; Ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care and documentation

Requirements

Certified as a PA or Nurse Practitioner with acute care certification; Be eligible for or possess Georgia licensure; Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills; Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment; Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities; Possess a passion for trauma and acute care surgery
