About Africa Talent

Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. Our goal is to meet the growing demand for Talent in Africa and Europe; by recruiting and developing Talent throughout Sub Saharan Africa in order to service the diverse needs and to enable projects at our clients. Talent employed will have the full experience of Deloitte, while getting both international and local exposure to a diverse set of clients, working remotely from Africa. How you will make an Impact

You will perform interviews, assess procedures, policies and controls as well as guide junior staff, and be an important contact person for the client. For SAP Audit projects, you will be responsible for test of design, implementation and operating effectiveness for relevant controls in the SAP system following the global Deloitte methodology, in close cooperation with a manager and partner. In your report you will give your client a good, solid advice that matches the risks of the organization, the people and their work ethic. Related projects can be very diverse and vary from small scale engagements to long-term IT Audit projects.

You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of different clients to provide you with different experiences and learning opportunities. Your responsibilities will increase fast as the learning curve is steep.

Responsibilities

Analyzing business processes supported by SAP to identify risks and provide advisory for control optimization purposes; Performing IT audits within SAP to provide our clients with practical recommendations to protect corporate assets and ensure data integrity and alignment with the organization’s overall goals,; Providing deep insights into existing and emerging risks in different processes and organizations through examination and evaluation of an organization’s information technology infrastructure, policies, and operations,

Requirements

A completed university degree at Bachelor level (or equivalent) in data or computer science, accountancy, business administration, economics, information technology, or a similar business degree; Relevant work experience, ideally experience from an IT Assurance and/or Audit role with specific experience drafting of attestation reports to independent assurance services covering a wide range of subject matters, including information security, financial and environmental business processes, data privacy and GDPR, and specialized assurance subjects such as SOC2, Cloud Security, NIS2, DORA, MitID, NSIS, SWIFT, and other challenging themes; Experience with technical audits of different SAP platforms; A solid understanding of authorization concepts and access management in an SAP environment; Passion for advising clients in the area of IT risk management and technology; You have the ability to work independently, but also as a team player, with strong time management skills; You adapt easily to changing circumstances, as you enjoy facing new challenges every day; You are a strong communicator, analytical, proactive, and know how to tackle a problem; You are keen on having daily interaction and a close collaboration with the client; Result-oriented, stress resistant and can motivate a team; Managing, leading and supporting lower-level staff; Actively contributes to building the talent pipeline, creates a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains top talent and high performing teams; Fluent in writing and speaking English
