After School Club Playworker - Bradford on Avon BA15

Enthusiastic Playworker / Activity Leader required to support and deliver engaging childcare activities within a busy Breakfast & After School Club in Bradford-on-Avon. We are seeking a caring, energetic and reliable individual to join our team, supporting children through a range of structured play, sports, games, and creative activities in a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured, engaging activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play; Create a fun, inclusive and safe environment for children; Support children during arrival, activities, and collection; Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures at all times; Ensure all sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed correctly; Provide refreshments for children while maintaining hygiene standards; Assist with setting up and packing away play areas and equipment; Complete relevant documentation including accident and incident forms; Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues, and schools; Carry out basic equipment checks and maintain a safe environment; Support and promote positive behaviour and engagement

Requirements

A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Reliable, responsible, and able to follow procedures; Ability to create a fun and safe environment for children; Energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for childcare and playwork; Complete our application form as part of our safer recruitment process (CVs alone will not be accepted); Provide two references (including most recent employer); Undergo an enhanced DBS check; Provide appropriate documentation for vetting; Children's Barred List Check
