Ambulatory tech-Imaging @ Miracle Mile

Under general direction from Nursing Leadership, assists providers during exams. Performs a variety of clinical tasks in support of patient care in out-patient clinics including a variety of technical, procedural and information systems tasks involving patient care functions affecting the comfort, care and safety of patients. Schedule: Saturday/Sunday 7a-7:30p.

Responsibilities

Assists providers during exams; Performs clinical tasks in support of patient care in outpatient clinics; Attaches patients to diagnostic and medical equipment; Obtains vital signs and performs diagnostic testing and specimen collection; Enters patient data into electronic medical record system; Maintains clinical equipment and medical supply levels; Implements infection prevention measures; Precepts new employees with RN oversight; Assists providers with patient processes as surgical procedure assistant

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience in customer focused/service setting required; Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to have

Associate's degree; Knowledge of medical terminology; Procedures; Computer experience
