Applications Engineer

We are Pramac, a Generac Company, leading the evolution to more resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions. Due to the strong growth of our business we are looking for an Application Engineer to join our local engineering team to support our clients and national sales network.

Responsibilities

Feasibility analysis request for estimate; Estimated costs and creation of proposals; Ensure that the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each offer are discussed with the various departments; Manage all aspects of the bidding process to ensure deadlines are met; Feasibility analysis of requests for offers; Develop business proposals in a professional way following company standards; Support the bid process and management; Support the sales network in technical discussions with customers; Contacts with suppliers for requests for offers for specific material; Liaise with our global factory and engineering teams for design scope, estimation and production; Periodic technical visits to manufacturing facilities

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of the Office package; Excellent knowledge of English; High technical knowledge of the product; Good knowledge of the principles of Project Management; Communication and relational skills; Organizational and management skills; Attention to detail; Problem Solving and Teamwork Skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Availability to travel interstate and internationally
