Architectural Designer

SCB is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our Chicago office. We're a national, multi-disciplinary design firm with a focus on multi-family residential, adaptive reuse, academic, and aviation projects. At SCB, everyone engages in design. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals on all aspects of project design and development under the direct supervision of a Project Manager and Principal. You will also closely collaborate with the project team, including consultants, to prepare design studies, graphic representations, technical drawings, studies, and other materials related to architectural design.

Requirements

Accredited professional degree in architecture;0-5 years post-graduate, full-time working experience in an architectural firm;Licensed Architect in the U.S. or actively working towards licensure;A strong design sensibility and attention to detail;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Passionate about design;Collaborative by nature;Understanding of building materials, systems, detailing, and construction methods

Proficiency with Revit;Familiarity with Enscape;Familiarity with Sketchup;Familiarity with Rhino;Familiarity with Grasshopper;Familiarity with 3D Studio Max;Familiarity with Affinity Publisher/Photo;Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
