Assembly Manufacturing Engineer Co-op (Spring 2027)

Description: Communicates to management any changes or issues that may impact department or company performance and collaborates with management to achieve resolution; Ensuring cars get through the whole ATG process on time; Drives and steers supplier quality representatives when issues negatively impact product quality; Performs tactical decision making for urgent issues; Manages support groups in problem solving and prevention; Performs strategic management for anticipation of change; Ensures that Department goals are consistently met; Maintains continuous improvement in regard to all measurable; Update Co-Op manual; Create process sheets for high speed test track facility; Develop an e-learning for the ATG process; IPSQ; Power BI; Quality Analytics; SQL; Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Engineering degree (preferably Industrial or Mechanical); Microsoft Excel; Detail-oriented; Organized; Effective communication skills; Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States; Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application; Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week); Transfer students must have a GPA from current university; MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT; Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term; THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11th – May 14th, 2027; Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations
