Assistant Director of Nursing (RN ADON)

Signature HealthCARE of Erin is a 164-bed facility. We have the largest therapy department in the area. We have a rehab to home program for our short term patients and help maintain the functional level of our long term care residents. The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, great knowledge of policies and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department; Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies, and standards of nursing practices and government regulations, so as to maintain quality care; Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties

Requirements

Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license; Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience; Must have a current/active CPR certification; On-Call Required

Nice to have

One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred
