We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at our Cahokia, United States location (1302 Camp Jackson Rd). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our team members.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily store operations during assigned shifts; Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment; Interact professionally with customers and employees, ensuring high levels of satisfaction; Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately; Answer phone calls and take customer orders efficiently; Maintain a clean and organized work environment; Assist with inventory management and stock control; Implement and uphold company policies and procedures; Collaborate with the management team to achieve store goals and objectives; Resolve customer complaints and address employee concerns promptly; Participate in employee training and development initiatives; Perform other duties as assigned by upper management

Requirements

Proven experience in retail or food service management; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor; Proficiency in math and problem-solving skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency; Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; High school diploma or equivalent; Positive attitude and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations

Nice to have
