Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience. We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Cambridge, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and customer service; Oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management; Operate and maintain all store equipment; Process customer orders via phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy and efficiency; Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records; Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels; Implement and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards; Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and customer service techniques; Resolve customer complaints and address any operational issues; Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving overall performance; Adapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or retail management; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in operating food service equipment and POS systems; Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately; Computer literacy for order processing and inventory management; Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; Efficient time management and organizational skills; Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices; Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends; High school diploma or equivalent required
