assistant manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, coaching/mentoring, and training; Assist in hiring process by recruiting, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders; Utilize outside purchase order ledger for special orders; Ensure customer returns/exchanges and refunds are processed accurately; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker/merchandising tasks; Ensure team members comply with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures, securing money/deposits and building; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, equipment, and delivery vehicles; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
