Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts; Lead the store team members in servicing customers; Lead team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and team member execution on customer service programs; Work with store manager to ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring training; Assist in hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling/participating in interviews, evaluating candidates; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and accurately; Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, securing money/deposits, and building security; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage/lighting, computer hardware, equipment, and delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
