Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage store during Store Manager's absence or opposing shifts; Lead store team members in servicing customers; Supervise customer service levels and team execution on customer service programs; Assist store manager in setting team member goals and providing feedback; Assist in hiring process by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating candidates; Ensure phone answered according to company policy; Ensure online orders and transfers processed timely; Process returns and exchanges efficiently; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving store; Ensure company policies and communication tasks are followed; Perform store opening and closing duties; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage, equipment, and vehicles; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged
