Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager's absence and/or when working opposing shifts; Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, coaching, and mentoring; Assist in the hiring process; Ensure phone is answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely; Utilize outside purchase order ledger for special orders; Process retail customer returns and exchanges; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker/merchandising tasks; Ensure team member compliance with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage, equipment, and delivery vehicles

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
