Associate Veterinarian

Lefferts Animal Hospital is a well-established, progressive, 8-doctor general practice seeing companion animal patients located in Richmond Hill, NY. The hospital offers Preventative Care, Surgery, Emergency & Urgent Care, High Speed Dentistry, Surgical CO2 Laser, Cold Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Acupuncture, and House Calls.

Responsibilities

Develop a relationship with clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible; Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort; Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment; Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital; Help to continue developing the support team; Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet

Requirements

Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian; Proficient in general medicine and surgery; Ability to practice medicine independently; Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university; Current DEA License or obtained upon hire; Active Veterinary State License
