At our hotels, Runners work across departments to ensure that guests and associates have what they need at the point in time when they need it. Whether delivering items directly to guests in their room or providing support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, or other areas that need assistance, our Runners move about their space to get the job done. They are critical to ensure smooth operations throughout the entire hotel.

Responsibilities

Work across departments to ensure that guests and associates have what they need at the point in time when they need it; Deliver items directly to guests in their room; Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, or other areas that need assistance; Move about their space to get the job done; Ensure smooth operations throughout the entire hotel; Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements

Ensure a safe work place; Follow company policies and procedures; Maintain confidentiality; Uphold quality standards; Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional; Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces; Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps; Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print; Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines; Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance; Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Nice to have

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; Overnight Shift Preferred; Customer Service Experience Preferred
