Banquets Housecleaner

The Banquets Housecleaner / Set-up is responsible for set up and break down tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags for meeting and banquet functions indoors and outdoors. Upon being hired, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags for meeting and banquet functions indoors and outdoors; Clean tables, chairs, podiums, floors, inside and outside; Put linens on tables; Refresh meeting rooms with water, pens, pads, etc.; Perform other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations; Maintain an upbeat attitude and positive mindset; Greet guests, employees, managers, and supervisors with a warm smile; Arrive on time and as scheduled; Adhere to uniform and appearance policies; Perform assigned tasks accurately and on time

Requirements

At least 3 months' experience in a restaurant, banquet, or room set-up position; Ability to follow oral and written instructions, maintain listed standards, read and comprehend a set-up diagram, and exceed guest expectations; Good public contact skills; Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; Ability to perform heavy cleaning, high and low dusting; Ability to transport objects weighing up to 75 pounds; Ability to walk a great amount in all types of weather; Ability to lift, stand, and bend up to 8+ hours daily
