Barista / Cafe Assistant

Searcys are looking for a Barista / Cafe Assistant to join the team at Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you will be responsible for providing service excellences to our customers, guests and clients within the in-house staff cafe "The Hub". Area for RICS staff to relax and unwind.

Responsibilities

Cafe Barista; £14 p/h – 0 hours contract; Monday - Friday only; 7am - 4pm; To help set up the cafe area and coffee bar, ready for each service; To provide counter service for breakfast & lunch offering; To help with any clearing and general cleaning duties; To check and put away any food and beverage after service; To ensure wastage forms are completed; To restock the fridge for the next day; To ensure all labels and prices are correct; To work on tills and following the Searcys cash handling procedures

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality, a people person.; Good listening & verbal communication skills; Passion for delivering outstanding customer service; Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus; Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
