Responsibilities

Avani Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Bartender / Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. Part Time and Full Time positions available.; This dynamic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys delivering exceptional service across both bar and floor. You’ll play a key part in creating memorable guest experiences, whether crafting quality beverages or providing attentive table service.; Key Responsibilities Include:; Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine; Provide attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering meals; Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests; Recommend menu items, drink pairings, and upsell to enhance the guest experience; Maintain clean, stocked, and organised bar and service areas; Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service; Comply with all health, hygiene, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards Shift Details (subject to change):; Flexible roster, including weekends and evening shifts

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:; Previous experience in bartending and/or food & beverage service; Strong product knowledge and confidence in preparing classic cocktails; Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable personality; Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
