Behaviour & Inclusion Support Assistant – Specialist School | Basingstoke. £14.25 per hour | Long-Term Opportunity | New Academic Year. A specialist SEND school in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated Behaviour & Inclusion Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and helping students overcome challenges to achieve success.

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils within the classroom and around the school; Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement; Helping students regulate emotions and build confidence; Working alongside teachers and support staff; Supporting individual learning and wellbeing plans

Requirements

Resilient, empathetic and adaptable; Strong communication and relationship-building skills; Passionate about supporting young people; Enhanced DBS check; Satisfactory references

Nice to have

Experience in education, care, youth work or support work
