Bilingual Independent Mental Health Therapist- Nevada, Remote

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Bilingual Licensed Therapist or Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to provide counseling and therapy treatment to patients of its Community Health Center partners. Services are provided remotely through telemedicine using a 'no wrong door' / 'say yes' treatment model. Full-time, fully remote position.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling and therapy treatment to patients via telemedicine; Provide patient care using evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Bereavement/Grief Counseling); Implement treatment modalities in individual and group therapy settings; Review and sign patient clinical psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents; Maintain clinical records and document all services and patient activities; Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans; Participate in case planning with the Multidisciplinary Team; Participate in individual and group supervision and ongoing education; Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Active or willing to obtain a license in Arizona, Oregon, or Washington in addition to an active license in state of primary residence; Bilingual English/Spanish (Required); Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided; Comfortable working in a remote environment; Patient-first mindset; Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours; Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents; Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence; Sufficient hearing ability for phone calls or virtual meetings; Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity; Licensed Therapist or Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT); Primary residence located in NV
