Position Summary

The Breakfast Cook helps with station assignments, maintains place, and prepares hot and cold foods for breakfast according to Food & Beverage department specifications. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

This full-time year-round position will be scheduled for 4 days per week.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 per hour; actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

Responsibilities

Cooks breakfast foods including eggs and breakfast meats; Set up station and mise en place to Chefs specifications; May be involved in sauté, grill, and roasting stations; Help organize kitchen items including, dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies, and food deliveries; Set up, work, and breakdown station; Maintain station cleanliness throughout shift; Submit production needs for following day by shift end; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required; Two years of food preparation experience preferred; Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; Understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment; Knowledge of company policies and procedures; Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively; Strong multitasking and time-management skills to ensure timely preparation and service; Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively; Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy morning hours, while maintaining attention to detail and quality
