BTEC Travel and Tourism Assignment Marker/Lecturer

m2r Education is working in partnership with a leading further education college in Cambridge to recruit a BTEC Travel and Tourism Assignment Marker/Lecturer on a temporary basis, starting 14th April 2026, until the end of the summer term. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced candidate who is available immediately and looking for a teaching role within further education. This role will primarily support the marking and assessment of BTEC assignments, with a strong focus on the Travel and Tourism curriculum area. The successful candidate will work closely with our curriculum team to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality marking of learner assignments. You will be responsible for assessing work in line with BTEC specifications, providing clear and constructive feedback, and supporting the internal verification process where required.

Requirements

Qualified and experienced; Available immediately; Strong experience in marking BTEC assignments; Solid understanding of BTEC assessment criteria and quality assurance processes; Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines; Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain); Full compliance documentation; UK Right to Work

Nice to have

Background in Travel and Tourism, either through teaching or industry experience
