Building Maintenance Tech - Overnight at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center. Basic Function: The Guest Service Tech will complete general maintenance requests that are submitted by guests and employees. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventative maintenance on spaces and equipment.

Responsibilities

Complete general maintenance requests submitted by guests and employees; Interact with guests or employees to ensure maintenance request is completed successfully; Perform preventative maintenance and maintain logs in an organized manner; Identify problems, initiate work orders, and accomplish assigned work orders; Perform duty rounds by using daily checklists; Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace; Use maintenance request system correctly; Assist with maintenance requests for other trades as needed

Requirements

One year experience in maintenance required, such as hotels, home repair, hospitals, office repair, or apartment complex repairs; Skilled with using hand, power, and diagnostic tools; Experience with minor wallpaper and vinyl repair, repair and paint drywall, wood, metal, and other surfaces using rollers and brushes, repair tile and grout, refinishing woodwork requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering, basic plumbing repairs, basic electrical repairs; Must be able to communicate both written and verbally in English due to guest contact

Nice to have

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics preferred; Texas Driver's License with good driving record preferred
