Bundler Operator (BUN)- Illinois

- New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
- The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection of working area to ensure there are no safety hazards (trip/ slip hazards); Start Bundler by engaging controls; Sort and place tires on conveyor line to be ran through bundling machine; Make minor adjustments on Bundler and load strapping into Bundler as needed; Observe Bundler machine operations to ensure tires are bundled properly; Bundler operators are required to operate fork-lifts on shifts the bundlers are idle; Classified as heavy work inclusive of lifting up to 100 lbs. and/or carrying weight up to 50 lbs.; Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting, Occasional squatting, climbing stairs, and climbing ladders

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED or completion of our on-site competency test; 0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed; No relocation assistance is offered for this position
