Bus Mechanic - PT

In this role, your expertise ensures our buses are safe, dependable, and ready to transport customers with confidence. You will perform standard and complex repairs on our diesel bus fleet, including preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Perform standard and complex repairs on diesel bus fleet, including preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical and electrical diagnostics; Check and repair belts, hoses, windshield wipers, lighting systems, and other critical components; Work on fleet of newer buses, applying diesel expertise to maintain reliability and minimize downtime; Keep vehicles operating safely and efficiently to support on-time transportation and positive customer experience

Requirements

Valid Driver's License; May be required to hold a Class B CDL, depending on location; Minimum of 2 years of diesel repair experience; Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels; Must have a complete set of hand tools required for diesel repair and maintenance; Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry; Flexibility to work various shifts; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles; Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States; This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
