Business Development Manager - Spain

Summary: We’re looking for an experienced B2B commercial leader with 10+ years of experience—ideally within FMCG retail—who is analytical, entrepreneurial and comfortable working with both customers and technical teams. You’ll combine market insight, commercial expertise and relationship-building to create tailored solutions and deliver measurable growth.

Tasks:

- Build out sustainable business in Spain

- Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies together with BD Director

- Develop account plans and lead tender bids.

- Build up and maintain network with FMCG Retailers

- Conduct deep market research to understand competitive landscapes and key business drivers

- Act as the interface between the customers and the Envipco European organization, including our production facilities (USA, Germany, Romania, Greece) and our headquarters in The Netherlands.

- Demonstrate your results based on clear KPI’s and sales targets, short and long term. The work will be both strategic and operational.

- This role will be based in Madrid and reports into the EU Business Development Director Spain, who is based in Madrid.

Requirements

Degree in Business Administration, Commercial or Technical education; At least 10 years of experience in (international) B2B commercial roles, preferably FMCG retail environment; Comfortable with detailed discussion around machinery, logistics and materials management.; Able to develop tailor made value propositions.; Excellent analytical and strategical skills.; Fluent in Spanish and English; Able to travel in the country and in Europe.; Strong Team player, able to work in multi-disciplinary teams; Able to build long term business relations.; While the skills and experience outlined above are important, we know that the right candidate may not meet every requirement.
