Buyer - E&I ( Saudi Arabia - Dammam ) for Cross country Pipe line Projects

Job Title: Buyer (Electrical & Instrumentation)
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Project Type: Cross Country Pipeline Projects (Oil and Gas Industry)
Experience: 4-8 Years
Salary: SAR 5,000 - SAR 6,000 per month (depends on the candidate's caliber and experience)
Key Responsibilities:

- Source and procure electrical and instrumentation equipment and materials for cross-country pipeline projects in the oil and gas industry.

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors specializing in E&I products.

- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.

- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify new suppliers.

- Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.

- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and industry standards.

- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and forecasts.

Requirements

Qualifications:; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.; 4-8 years of experience in procurement within the EPC industry, specifically in the oil and gas sector.; Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment and materials used in pipeline projects.; Excellent negotiation and communication skills.; Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.; Strong organizational and time management skills.; Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
