Buyer in Composites Procurement (Temp Agency)

An opportunity for Buyer in Composites Procurement has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The PMBC team is in charge of the Strategic Procurement of the composites materials through the related MFT for the complete Airbus Group, through the Procurement Synergy Group.

Responsibilities

Supporting the buyers role in various scopes linked to series production or future programs; Developing end to end business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost & EBIT contribution; Collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders based all over the world to accelerate innovations; Being at the heart of the development of the new technologies and products of future and existing aircraft; Supporting the management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products; Enforcing compliance between contracts terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus; Managing the alignment across the different Company functions for purchased products; Ensuring professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players and upholding the Company ethics and compliance standards; Ensuring the implementation of the Composite Materials MFT strategy for future programs; Managing and participating in strategic projects linked to the implementation of the Composite Materials MFT strategy for future programs as required

Requirements

Educated to degree level; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong negotiation skills; Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment; High level of motivation to lead complex projects; English: Negotiation level; Spanish: Fluent; Awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity
