Cabin Retrofit Solution Engineer

We are looking for a Retrofit Solutions Engineer A350 within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) located in Bangalore. You will be part of the international team within the Cabin Retrofit Solutions. We are searching for enthusiastic A350 colleagues who want to be part of the Upgrade services community. You bring added value to our customers' A350 fleet. You are responsible for the definition and integration of retrofit design solutions for A350 aircraft post-delivery. Your main focus will be on the cabin modifications including associated mechanical and electrical interfaces and adaptation of related cabin systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all design activities in terms of cost, time and quality; Involve in check and release of retrofit design data sets; Acquiring required technical signature delegations for this activity; Prepare and follow-up of all relevant certification documents e.g. Full-TRS (MP dossier), MAS, ICS and supporting documents; Analyze PRE and POST status of the aircraft relevant to ATA-21 and 38 with respect to the upgrade / change request; Managing and validating internal and external engineering work packages; Provide engineering data to Production, supply chain and other involved internal stakeholders; Participate in technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders; Provide Service Bulletin embodiment support remote / on-site (worldwide); Support airworthiness activities and Safety Management System

Requirements

Deep understanding in handling typical A350 design tools, such as CATIA V5, VPM, Pass V2; Working experience and knowledge on any of the following ATA chapters ATA -21, 38; Team player; Positive and open mindset and good communication skills; Well organized and independent work; Ability to give guidance to subcontractors and project stakeholders; High level of personal responsibility and flexibility; English Advanced level is mandatory; 5 to 10 years as Design/Retrofit Engineer or similar position; Degree in engineering or similar; Contribute to Design activities for linefit or Retrofit Solutions; Leading and coordinating operational teams and guaranteeing Quality and On time delivery of project deliverables; Experience in the A350 Programme; Working experience and knowledge on ATA chapters 21, 38 in Engineering activities or Retrofit activities; Experience in working on Airbus design tools such as CATIA V5, VPM & Pass; Ability to read, understand and interpret full 3D, engineering drawings & specifications; Knowledge on SIDP-21, 38 (SIDP - System Installation Design Principle); Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
