Short Order Cook | Café Experience

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Cook with Café Experience, Barista trained would be ideal to join our fantastic team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys creating fresh, delicious food for our amazing residents.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality café-style food, working alongside a great team to deliver a warm and enjoyable dining experience. This is a hands-on role with plenty of interaction, where your passion for food and people will really shine.

Requirements

Experience in café or short-order cooking; Someone who enjoys working as part of a team; A positive attitude and great customer focus; A genuine passion for providing the very best food and service; Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or cafe; Exceptional cooking and baking skills; Excellent food hygiene practices and a commitment to safe working practices; Strong communication and organisational skills; Flexibility, adaptability and able to work well under pressure with good time management.; Empathy towards older adults, good interpersonal and customer service skills.; Honesty, reliability, and integrity.; Current NZ Food Safety Certificate.
