Location: Northampton

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Shifts: Waking Nights - 9pm - 8am - Availability Throughout The Week

What you’ll do

You will be working in the family home of a young adult where you will make a real difference in providing care and support throughout the night. Our client uses a wheelchair due to spinal muscular atrophy and uses a ventilator at night.

He enjoys playing computer games, watching TV and likes to go bowling and to the cinema.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional. There is a pet dog in the home so animal lovers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Personal care; Support airway through the night; Ventilator management; Specialist Moving & Handling - Repositioning in the wheelchair

Requirements

It is essential that the successful candidate will have a background in the care sector . We do provide full nurse led training so this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills as complex care assistant and be a part of a team that makes a real difference.; However experience in complex care strengthen your application.
