Shifts: Various Shifts Available - Part Time & Full Time - 9am - 9pm | 9am - 5pm | 5pm - 9pm

What you’ll do

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our 20-year-old client as part of a 2:1 care package in her family home.

Our client is a young woman living with drug-resistant epilepsy due to cortical dysplasia, experiencing multiple types of seizures. Your role will be varied and rewarding, which will involve:

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a non-smoker, comfortable working in a home with a pet dog, and available for both weekday and weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

Personal care; PEG feeding and medication administration; Seizure monitoring and management; Moving and handling; Suctioning (as required); Engaging in sensory play, arts and crafts, story time, and outings
