Care Assistant

At Sage Care, we are actively recruiting for compassionate Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our dedicated teams supporting service users across the heart of West London. As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities

Supporting with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming); Assisting with medication (preparation and safe administration); Helping with mobility (using aids/equipment safely and supporting rehabilitation); Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support; Carrying out light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, household tasks); Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships; Encouraging social inclusion and participation in hobbies/community activities; Promoting independence and ensuring dignity and choice; Medication management (collecting prescriptions, safe administration); Cooking nutritious meals considering dietary needs; Housekeeping (light cleaning, laundry, tidying); Mobility assistance (transfers, walking support, use of aids); Health monitoring and reporting changes; Emotional support; Accurate record keeping; Safety and emergency response; Collaboration with colleagues, professionals, and families

Requirements

Right to work within the UK; Willing and able to travel between clients within the local community; Compassion; Effective communication; Problem-solving skills; Commitment to respectful, high-quality care; Resilience; Eagerness to learn

Nice to have

At least 6 months of social care experience
