Care/Med Tech

LakeHouse Senior Living operates care and lifestyle-focused Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities across five states. Care/Med Tech. PT/FT 3rd Shift 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. in Manitowoc, WI. $18.50 Hourly.

Responsibilities

Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions; Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly; Notifies supervisor if resident has increased care needs; Assists with continence management; Serves and collects food trays; Maintains cleanliness of resident's room and work areas; Practices standard care precautions; Helps residents maintain independence, dignity and physical safety; Assists residents with activities of daily living; Engages residents in life skills and enrichment activities; Greets and assists customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors and team members; Does resident laundry as assigned; Reviews service plans; Assists/observes medications and treatments; Documents medication administration; Maintains confidentiality of resident information; Reports resident concerns to Nurse/HCC; Restocks medication cart; Assists in checking medications; Counts narcotics each shift; Maintains and cleans Medication Room and treatment carts; Follows medication re-fill process; Participates in Service Plan development and updates; Takes and records vitals; Reports occupational exposures immediately; Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED; Must be 18 years of age.

Nice to have

Certified Nurse's Aid certification; CPR Certification; First Aid Certification; Previous experience working with seniors
