Carer - Kurri Kurri

We are currently seeking experienced aged care carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Kurri Kurri Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents. We are an award winning, leading aged care provider delivering best quality aged care services that are making a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities

Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds; Providing basic clinical care including wound dressing, assisting with medication delivery and recording basic clinical observations; Providing care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions; Entering reports and observations into the iCare computer program; Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care

Requirements

Certificate III in Aged Care; Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; Previous experience in an aged care environment; An enthusiastic and motivated approach; Current First Aid Certificate; Valid police check clearance; Must be eligible to work in Australia
