The casino host acquires, develops, and maintains relationships with VIP guests to increase company revenues.

Responsibilities

Acquire, develop, and maintain relationships with VIP guests that lead to increased revenues for the company; Grow a book of business through application of incentives, programs and customer service within Company and department guidelines; Engage with guests, learn and deliver on their preferences, overcome issues and create exceptional experiences

Requirements

High School diploma or GED; Sales, Customer Service, marketing; Good communication skills (ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences); Handles administrative work (receives, sorts and files monthly personnel action reports); Self-motivated, with ability to work without direct or constant supervision; Available to work a flexible schedule (day, swing, graveyard, weekends, holidays, special events) and any other schedule as needed; Highly organized and detail-oriented; Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations; Computer, telephone, fax and copier skills; Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, e-mails, and player tracking systems; Office/Casino environment requiring sitting and/or standing for extended periods; Subject to outdoor temperature fluctuations; Exposure to smoke, bright lights and noise; Frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend and stoop; Occasionally lift, carry, push and pull, including lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds regularly throughout shift; Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations
