Casino Security Guard

This position is responsible for observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within the Enterprise require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional team work. This position is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of guests, team members, vendors, and all company assets.

Responsibilities

Observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members; maintaining excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace; patrolling all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security; working effectively with all departments; remaining alert to unusual or questionable activity; maintaining excellent working relationships with staff, vendors, and contractors; aiding law enforcement authorities as needed; assisting in transporting and escorting assets and guests; documenting and reporting incidents in accordance with company policy; ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the organization, NIGC, and OMGC; performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent); equivalent combination of Customer Service and Communications experience may be required; must be punctual and dependable; knowledge, skills, and experience in hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff, communications, decision making, problem solving, complaint resolution and resource allocation; read, write, and speak English; read professional publications, memos, emails, logs, newsletters, and documents; perform intermediate mathematical computations up to and including probability and statistics; protect company values by keeping information confidential; perform assigned tasks under supervision; follow written and verbal instructions; establish and maintain positive relationships with executive level management, other managerial and supervisory staff, and other team members; work well alone or within a team; present facts and recommendations in oral and written form; prepare written reports and correspondence to upper management as required; utilize MS Office products at basic to intermediate skill level; exercise sound judgment; willing and able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; eligible to work in the United States; pass a drug test; obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission; possess a valid driver's license; able to lift at least 50 lbs; able to push, pull or drag up to 150 lbs
