Casual Programme Assistant - Ohope

At sKids, we believe childhood should be full of laughter, learning, and adventure! Since 1996, we’ve been creating awesome out-of-school experiences for Tamariki across New Zealand. Today, we welcome more than 3,800 kids every day at over 170 school sites – and we’re still growing!

As a Casual Programme Assistant , you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.

This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.

Responsibilities

Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential , though finish times may vary.; Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).; Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities; Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children; Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing; Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

Requirements

Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship); Can get to Ohope site with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle; Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!; Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
