Children’s Complex Care HCA

Are you a compassionate and experienced Complex Carer looking for a fulfilling role? We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide care for a young child with complex needs in a nursery setting. Shift Pattern: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 9am – 3pm (3 days per week).

Responsibilities

Ensure the baby’s safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day; Tracheostomy care - monitoring, suctioning, and ensuring a clear airway; Nebuliser administration as required; NG tube feeding - preparing and administering feeds safely; Monitoring vital signs and responding to any concerns promptly; Personal care & hygiene - changing nappies, repositioning, and maintaining skin integrity; Medication administration following care plan instructions; Work closely with the baby’s family and wider care team, ensuring a high standard of care in a nurturing and supportive home environment

Requirements

Right to work in the UK; 6+ months of personal care experience (hospital, nursing home, nursery or home care); DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one; Basic Life Support & Moving/Handling training; Two professional references
