Class 1 Driver/Operator, Tank Truck

CEDA is looking for Class 1 Tanker Truck Drivers for fluid hauling in its Dawson Creek, BC location. Candidates must be experienced with off-road driving in rough terrains (mud, ice and snow) and have the ability to chain up tires in the winter.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a tri-tri tanker or tri-quad tanker; Provide quality services to clients; Perform physically demanding tasks outside of the unit; Strictly adhere to all safety requirements; Complete field level risk assessments; Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs; Manage all minor maintenance and checks; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid Class 1 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years; 2 years of tanker truck or applicable experience; Experience with off-road driving in rough terrains (mud, ice and snow); Ability to chain up tires in the winter; Clean and current driver's abstract; Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test; Strong mechanical aptitude
