Class 1 Truck Driver

Our team is currently looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver for our Granby site. We are looking for a candidate who can easily adapt to change and is ready to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

Perform daily truck inspections,; Follow the schedule and routes provided by the supervisor,; Pick up and deliver ferrous and non-ferrous metals in accordance with applicable safety standards,; Complete all required transportation documentation,; Perform basic truck maintenance,; Ensure customer satisfaction,; Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently,; Conduct pre-trip inspections before hitting the road,; Ensure that all safety standards established by law and by the employer are followed at all times,; Regularly operate different types of heavy vehicles,; Move and clean our trailers.

Requirements

You hold a Class 1 driver's licence with an FM endorsement,; You have a good driving record,; You have at least 2 years of experience as a Class 1 truck driver,; You are familiar with hydraulic systems,; You have experience operating various types of heavy vehicles, such as 12-wheel roll-off trucks, 4-axle dump trucks, 4-axle flatbed trucks, etc.,; You are committed to workplace health and safety,; You are in good physical condition,; You provide excellent customer service,; You are reliable, dedicated and punctual,; You take good care of equipment and tools.
