Cleaner

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent service standards for routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer; Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role; Work within a team and under own initiative; Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures; Maintain designated area to agreed level of cleanliness in line with Contract and relevant SLAs; Ensure service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard; Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order; Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks; Always maintain security – locking doors, following lost property procedures etc.; Have full knowledge and understanding of designated cleaning area; Have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie; Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance; Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with Mitie policy; Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety while on school premises; Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers; Undertake any other related duties within job holder's capability
