Clinical Pharmacist, Central Pharmacy, 3rd shift, Winston Campus. 3rd Shift (9pm - 7:30am), 7/70 (7 ten-hour shifts, then 7 days off).

Responsibilities

Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses; Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization; Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes; Contribute to quality improvement efforts through teamwork; Continuously update and document skills and knowledge; Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations; Set personal goals to support departmental objectives; Provide age-appropriate care following guidelines; Foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required; Current state pharmacist license is required in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.

Nice to have

Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is preferred; Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
