An Assistant Manager is an hourly employee that participates in the Management Training Program and is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of the store's goods and services during their shifts. Objectives: To become trained in managerial skills with the aim of becoming a Domino's Pizza Store Manager. While in training, to assist the manager in all activities relating to store operations in accordance with company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

Overseeing production and delivery of store's goods and services during shifts; participating in Management Training Program; assisting the manager in all activities relating to store operations; enforcing company policies and standards; resolving customer problems and complaints; coordinating store production during periods of high stress; preparing pizzas and other food items; managing ovens; maintaining sanitation standards; taking inventory; preparing daily deposits; analyzing daily computer reports; supervising all phases of production; assisting in hiring, training and scheduling Team Members

Requirements

Open availability (40 to 50); full time; some fast food restaurant experience; excellent customer service attitude; quick learner; complete all orientation, onboarding, training, security, and driver safety program requirements; comply with all Valley Pizza, Inc. standards and policies; report to work on time as scheduled in full uniform; understand, practice and enforce sexual harassment guidelines; maintain valid driver's license, liability insurance and working auto for delivery; fully trained in delivery process; maintain an effective means of contact; demonstrate willingness to learn and advance; attend training classes and complete exams; maintain personal and professional conduct; resolve conflicts and handle unstable situations; listen and communicate with customers; coordinate store production during high stress; enter computer data using standard keyboard; receive and record customer's order within 2 minutes; know and fulfill Product Guarantee; perform mathematical computations; count currency, coins and checks; move safely and swiftly; prepare pizzas and other food items; make pepperoni pizza within 60 seconds after training; use scale; oven management; direct, manage and perform multiple tasks; maintain sanitation expectations; take inventory and complete paperwork; prepare food; maintain supplies; lift items weighing 26 pounds; remain mobile for periods of at least 3 hours; analyze daily computer reports; complete bookkeeping procedures; follow instructions; assist in training and enforcing safety policies; direct daily store operations; supervise production; assist in hiring, training and scheduling team members; comply with Nondisclosure/Noncompetition Agreement
