The Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the Cloud and Hosting Product Service Lines (PSL) to represent Infra and Digital Workplace Domain in front of other Airbus Functions. The objective is to support the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our organization's cloud and hosting solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive technology experience for our end users, from initial rollout to continuous improvement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and user satisfaction. Reporting to the Cloud and Hosting Lead, the role will manage cloud and hosting services ensuring end to end ownership of the product life cycle. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible to align with global product owners to advocate for harmonization of end user products and services within Apac core countries.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Cloud and Hosting Product Service Lines (PSL) to represent Infra and Digital Workplace Domain in front of other Airbus Functions; Supporting the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of the organization's cloud and hosting solutions; Ensuring a seamless and positive technology experience for end users, from initial rollout to continuous improvement; Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and user satisfaction; Managing cloud and hosting services ensuring end to end ownership of the product life cycle; Aligning with global product owners to advocate for harmonization of end user products and services within Apac core countries; Providing support in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud and hosting infrastructure, including on premise servers, cloud solutions, extended enterprise technologies; Supporting strategy and policies compliant with Airbus group and defining APAC standards; Supporting Architects when developing technical roadmaps for cloud and hosting upgrades; Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Apac/Central to assess and address cloud and hosting-related issues; Supporting PSL to oversee the design, build and run of Datacenter hosted with Vmware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, Storage and Backup, SCCM, Citrix/VDI; Supporting PSL in managing the Availability and Capacity management and reporting ON PREM Virtual/Physical servers, Storage and Backup infrastructure in APAC; Supporting the Apac/Central CyberSecurity team in establishing and enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures; Support PSL in evaluating emerging technologies and recommending innovative solutions; Supporting Cloud and Hosting Lead in preparing and managing budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines; Supporting PSL in continuous improvement, standardization and harmonization lever in APAC and Airbus group; Contributing and collaborating within D&IM domains and other internal stakeholders; Managing/coordinating Cloud and Hosting projects and initiatives assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Proven experience (>5 years) in cloud and hosting design, implementation, and management; In-depth experience knowledge in the following areas: On prem virtual server infrastructure platform; Cloud architecture knowledge; Cloud technologies operation and migration; Backup Infrastructure; High Availability and Disaster recovery; Data Center; Private/Public cloud management; Vendor management; Experience with cloud and hosting monitoring tools, troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders; Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; Good analytical and problem solving skills; Self-motivated, proactive, self-disciplined with a service oriented mindset; Ability to work well under pressure; Attention to details; Organization and time management; Management and leadership skills; Patience; Comply with Airbus ethic & compliance policies; Comply with Airbus export control compliance plan; Oversee the maintenance on all living documentations of the team; This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
